What You Should Know
Our staff will not call or email you directly (unless they are calling you back). Please stay vigilant by noting the following:
- Do NOT click on email or text links related to online banking.
- Do NOT interact with suspicious links, phone calls or text messages.
- We will never ask for you online banking account username, password or security code.
- We will never ask for your debit card, credit card or online banking information.
If you are uncomfortable with someone claiming to be from the bank on the phone, hang up and call the bank directly.
Common Fraud Tactics
Be cautious of unexpected messages or calls that:
- Ask you to “verify” or “update” your account information
- Create urgency or pressure you to act quickly
- Include links to log into your account
- Appear to come from the bank but seem unusual or unexpected
- Use “spoofing,” where scammers make their phone number or caller ID appear as if it’s coming from the bank
- Reference recent banking updates or system changes
How to Protect Yourself
- Do not click on links in suspicious emails or text messages
- Do not share personal or account information with anyone who contacts you
- Hang up and call the bank directly using a trusted phone number
- Log in only through official channels, such as our website or mobile app
- Monitor your accounts regularly for any unusual activity
